Once again, Cambodia urgently calls on the Thai side to fully implement the ceasefire agreement and to immediately return the 18 Cambodian soldiers so they may be reunited with their families, who have been waiting anxiously day and night.
As of August 19, 2025, it has been 21 days since these Cambodian forces were illegally detained by Thai soldiers on the morning of July 29, 2025—after the ceasefire had already come into effect at 24:00 on July 28, 2025.
